The War Room is a House of Prayer that breathes and is sustained by the revelation of Christ Jesus. We believe it to be exactly what scripture says in Revelation 19:10, “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” We honour both the gift of prophecy, as well as the office of the prophet.
We have the honour of housing a company of prophets and prophetic voices and are in perpetual training and activating in this gift. As a gift all can prophesy and should desire to do so, as scripture tells us and is given to edify, exhort and comfort.
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 1 Cor 14:1-3
As a house that adheres to the Five Fold Ministry precedent set out in Ephesians 4, the office of the prophet is scripturally foundational to the church.
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, Eph 2:20-21
At any given time you will find us engaged in training in the prophetic, activating the prophetic and prophesying.
